Steve Emery represents clients in the areas of employee rights, labor
organizations, education law, unlawful discrimination, unemployment benefits, ERISA,
debtor-creditor relations and foreclosure defense, family law, criminal defense, tort and
contract claims, administrative law, municipal & corporation law, open records and
open meetings law, and appellate representation. Steve is a graduate of the University of
Louisville Brandeis School of Law, and was admitted to practice in 2000. He served
as a law clerk and staff attorney for the Kentucky Court of Appeals. He is licensed to
practice in all state courts in Kentucky, the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and
Western Districts of Kentucky and the Southern District of Indiana, the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits, and the U. S. Supreme Court. He is a member of
the Oldham County Bar, the Louisville Bar, and the Kentucky Bar Associations, and the
Kentucky Justice Association. Steve is active in the Sons of the American Revolution and
the Boy Scouts. Steve is the managing partner of the LaGrange Branch Office. |
