Laura Ellis Stoess represents clients in the areas of family law and domestic relations, as well as bankruptcy, probate, workers compensation, Social Security disability, and business formation. She is a trained mediator for family law matters, skilled in collaborative law, which emphasizes divorce with dignity through cooperative, non-adversarial means. Laura is a graduate of Centre College, received her law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, and was admitted to practice in 1997. She is licensed to practice in all Kentucky state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. She is a member of the Oldham County Bar, the Louisville Bar, and the Kentucky Bar Associations. Laura is a life long resident of Oldham County, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters.
